Going in a stout street car. 72 Cuda' 6.1 Hemi with Keisler 5 speed and 3.55 gears. It's going in a 489 case in an 8 3/4 housing. This car will not see any track time, but occasional street fight. Anyone running either one of these?

I know that the Detroit Truetrac is quiet, unlike the detroit locker in my dart. What are your thoughts?

I am running a Trutrac in a 489 nodular iron case with 3.55 US gears (all from Dr Diff, by the way).

Love it!

Only problem.....I get so much traction with the trutrac is that my 318 doesnt have enough low end to overpower it and peel out....LOL

I have neck snapping acceleration now, compared to the 2.76 open I had.

It really is amazing when you feel that Trutrac working.....Have a few hundred miles on it now......no noise that I can perceive.
