Are they a wreckin yard ????......sounds about right if it is.

That bondo in the top rail looks like it is well attached and the hole in the middle doesn't count. (to them)

Of course when they actually put the part off the car is when its gonna get messed up:D

Are you sure that is bondo? Looks like worn paint all the way through the primer and down to the metal to me.

I don't think $125 is a crazy price but again I have a 1968 Barracuda where a nice grill part really costs some coin.

These parts are nearing 50 years old. Most have been crushed & turned into Toyotas. Repairable is quickly becoming the norm versus grabbing a mint chrome part.

There's a guy on there with the center grill for a 65 Coronet. Although it is excellent, it is still used and he wants 950 for it. It's been on there forever, too. Hell, almost makes me wanna part my 65 out. My center grill is just as perfect. My headlight bezels just need some work.

Looks like bondo to me and it even has primer around the outside

Check out his other items- 1964 Dart GT complete set of rally wheels for $800.00.

Somebody is smoking crack!

Also do not think that is a crazy price. These are not laying around the bone-yards that still have old mopars at least in my area. Would cost $60 in gas just to check my local sources and if i had a 66 that needed a decent grill center section would go for this one without hesitation

Can't wait til I'm done with my 5 projects-sounds like I will be able to make some good bucks on my leftovers if I'm not to old to remember what they are!!!
If my wife really knew how many parts I have, she would neuter me in my sleep!!!

Sooo, the deal I just gave a member here for 2 barracuda centers was too cheep?? I think not!!! $125 for just the center section of a Valiant grille is waaaaaaaaaaay too much!! Ill sell the entire 66 Valiant grille I have for 1/2 of that, to a member here of course!! Geof

You hit the nail on the head cosig. Deal. Just me but If i have a part i'm interested in helping someone out with I post on FABO. If interested in profit, instant availability or buyer protection i'm going eBay or elsewhere. Great that we all have opinions but he has part and we do not. Sellers choice to post on eBay for a stated price and accept scrutiny from forums like FABO as obviously from add he is a business not a hobbyist.

Look at the picture where it shows it straight on with the hood popped. That wore mark is directly in line with the hood latch and to me it looks like the paint as well as the primer have worn through to the metal. I could be wrong but I am not seeing bondo there.

It seemed high but not out of line....If they're that common, how come I don't have one already?

I was just offered one for $20 from another member on here if I needed it. I don't need one though, just came across the listing checking out Vali parts.

I would sell cheaper here than on ebay...just like auctions over buy it now prices on ebay.
