Hello,
to answer your question regarding Mopar 8-3/4 housings from Liegel84 on E-bay. I have purchased not one but two housings from him. One Dana 60 for my 1973 Charger, and one 8-3/4 for my 1970 Challenger. He is extremely knowledgeable and does everything he can to make sure your getting EXACTLY what you want. It seems like whatever your needs are from factory/ stock housings to the most tricked out housings he knows what he's doing. I wouldn't be afraid to purchase one from him at all.

He a neighbor?

LOL ummm no not a neighbor. I am probably about 40 miles away from him, not that, that's real far away but i did buy my first housing from him on E-bay, that's how I found out about him. Then after the first one I purchased the Dana 60 complete.

He ain't my neighbor and I bought a housing from him. Found him on ebay and he is very easy to work with. If he has the slightest question about anything he calls or emails to get clarification. Goes way beyond what is necessary to make you happy.
Mine was a headache from the start since I wanted the housing an inch wider than stock A body to get rid if the poopy dance look in the rear. I paid for a narrowed housing and he traded me 2 shortened axles with bearings pressed on, and 10X2 1/2" brakes for an uncut B body housing. The only thing that you may not like is he sets his housings up to run Green bearings. Probably getting too many returns from people who didn't know how to adjust axle end play or even that you had to. Rear has been in the car almost 2 years with no problems so far, but it is behind a slant. Hope this helps.

Grumpus,

I feel as though I am in the dark. Please elaborate on this "Poopy Dance Look" that you speak of. :)

Yeah I was kind wondering about that too.

As far as Ligel84. A buddy of mine bought one from him and had no problems at all. The guy was real friendly and since Ron didn't know what all he needed the fellow explained everything and gave him a good deal on the whole shebang.

Pat and I have done business back and forth over the years. You can't go wrong dealing with him.
