'64 270 Dartvertible
Does anyone know anything about this seller or his windshields? Here's the auction link.
They're $200 but local pickup only. It would mean a round trip from Texas to get one. It's for my 64 Dart convertible.
Mine isn't cracked or chipped, but it has hundreds of little scratches. They all seem to light up at night when someone's coming toward me with their headlights on. Kind of like throwing glitter all over the windshield. There's also a little peeling around the edges where the glass is separating from that safety film-no big deal to me.
It seems like a good opportunity to get one. Just looking for a little advice/info about this seller and early windshields in general. Haven't even called around looking for one because of the problems with the 73 Swinger I had ten years ago. That windshield had to be special ordered and it took a while to find someone who could install it. Thought it would be no problem since I was in Houston at the time, but not true.
IIRC, all the early windshields (63-66) are the same.
