edelbrock carb question

i have a edelbrock i think its 600 or 650 right square in the middle from front to back are 2 holes, i think the back one is threaded, i do not have booster brakes. just drum, could one hole be plugged, and is one for pcv valve to hook to, gas line connects from side? thanks

Jus Plug One Use The Other For Pcv.

I put a nipple on the back threads for my PCV valve. The front is plugged. Looks a little cleaner with the line not running to the front of the carb for pcv imo.
