65 cc after all the porting dont know if that would change it or not. bought them from guys son whos dad pass away ,he didnt know anything

Are these heads for the early hi compression 340s? Is it this one from mancini racing?

The Edelbrock 340 heads were open chambered, different part number. These (Edel LA's) will interfere with their closed chamber on the 340 pop up pistons....Unless the OP knows dor sure they wont with a thick head gasket?

Yes I think it would be far too close with the 1008 fel pro gasket that is .039...

these heads were on a 408 flat top pistons edelbrock head part number #60779 i know the asking price is close to price they sell for but upgrades are comp springs to 650 lift [springs that come on heads new are lift to 580 ] also comp 10 degree locks and retainers ,[comes with 7 degree ]also took them to my head man he said stage 2 sporting which would cost $400 to $500 , also get ARP HEAD BOLT kit, and set of #1008 felpro gaskets .039 thick they heads also have mag bronze guides nice head if you run dome pistons you can go to cometic gasket
