Yes it is obvious. I was unable to get this done last August. The shop has been busy, and customers are always a priority. However through these past months I replaced both inner fenders repaired both doors....

From there I patched both quarter panels. Rebuilt the tail light panel. And straightened the many dings, dents, and scarfs the old girl had acumilated over a third of a century past. And today was the day. A long time anticipated. I eagerly masked up my ride of my youth with an ear to ear grin. And laid three coats of polyester primer on her. For the moment I am quite pleased

Great story and a great car. Best of luck. If I get mine drivable by my 40th reunion coming up next October I'll raise a glass to you and your old girl. I'm just a shade tree guy but we just may make it...

The old girl looks in its present state looks just like the Flash in its......minus the roll cage.
Nice job. Like they say......all downhill from here .

Awesome work and stories!
I would love to do another full blown body job and resto some day, but i am too busy just screwing them together with what i have!
What color have you decided on and what drive train are you going to use?
Great thread, i'll be watching this one!

The color will be a modern twist of code E7. Burnished red, it's original color. This time around it will again get a smallblock and a manual transmission I may have some surprises for this build. But I will keep that to myself for now. Keep watching and thanks for your praises.
