How about $10 a piece? I had to replace the temp probe in my Frigidaire oven and found them online for $9.99 shipped.
REFRIGERATOR RANGE TEMP SENSOR PART# 316490000

I made a graph showing the service manuals temperature test points of the probe and the thing measures from 32F to 900F so I imagine if you strap/insert 8 of these on your header pipes and get an 8 input/switched board you could possible make an EGT analyzer and find out your fuel distribution issues. It looks to be about +-1.5% accurate. I put it in boiling water (212F@sea level) and it measured 1370‎Ω, right where it should read.

I just thought of something...now I can graph my "adjustable "soldering irons temperature.

I stand corrected. I didnt think headers got that hot on a motor in tune.
