For you guys running electric gauges: do you run them through the bulkhead connector or separately through another hole in the bulkhead? Is there much difference in accuracy between mechanical and electric gauges on the street?

I built a mini harness and ran it through the hole the old speedo cable came through (I went with the electric speedo). Not to sure about the accuracy vs. mechanical but I do like the electric speedo in that you calibrate by driving and not have to find the gear for the tranny

I ran an elect. temp. gauge. several sending unit later, still showing, running hot. seemed hot, but never blew the cap overflow. changed to mech. temp.was just fine. Mech. gauges are better for solving problems, more accurate. just my op.

i put a rubber gromet in a factory plastic plug in the firewall, i guess its for clutch linkage, ran all kinds of wires through there.
