Electric water pump drive, any gains in ET?

have you ever ran a street car for more then a mile without a waterpump... thats why they don't do that, insted alot of manufacturers these days are switching to electric waterpumps that are remotely located away from the engine

Yeah, we did that day! I believe new Beemers run an electric water pump, and that is a pretty high mileage car so the reliability factor must be getting up there. Meziere rates their 12V motors for 3000 hours

we use a moroso 30% smaller crank pulley and never have a problem with the belt staying on the alternator.
