As big a pump as you can buy. Your pump can't be too big.

I just switched to the CVR for my big block and couldn't be happier. I paired it with two 12" SPAL fans and a shroud that I made and I was able to let it idle in 86 degree heat and it kept everything at 180 degrees. This is the first time I have been able to do that in the entire 31 years I've owned it.

How many GPH is that pump and can you get that GPH in a small block pump?

It's 55gph per their website. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they offer one for small blocks.

I've had good luck with these. Its one of the "under $400" ones still on the market. I had used the proforms forever, but they are D/C unfortunately.
