OK...almost.....I'm still putting zip ties and cable looming on, but the wiring work is done.

- Installed a Buss bar in the engine compartment.
- 4AWG charging wire installed
- dual 6AWG power wires ran through fire wall for power to car
- Maxi fuses installed for dead-short protection on 6AWG wires
- bypassed all original bulkhead main power wires
- installed direct power relay for fuel pump
- installed power switch to drive relay, ran from ign power
- removed & spliced old harness connector by blower motor
- shortened coil wires by 10" (and replaced nicked wire completely)
- installed 14AWG sense wire from regulator to buss bar
- 6AWG power, starter relay, and sense wires are hooked to buss bar
- fuel optimizer wiring removed
- all old pollution wiring removed

The battery is connected via 4AWG cable to buss for now. It's a short term setup until the battery goes to the trunk. I can post a pic or two if anyone actually cares to see the setup....

All that, and I didn't even blow anything up:thumbrig:
Hopefully it will be on the street soon.....:burnout:

Well, it started. Ran strong, and didn't fry anything.
Now I'm pulling out that stupid starter interlock switch, then I can install all the looming. I also need to bump the timing up to 18* at idle..as per "Da Man" at FBO 8) I'm running at a rock solid 12 right now.

Might actually be on the road in a week or so.....barring any catastrophic setbacks....

Yep, I'd like to see some pics of your wiring. I'm about to start rewiring mine. I'm really interested in seeing what kind of buss fuse you used and where you installed it. I f you dont wanna post them here it might be easier to email them to me at [email protected].
