I was wondreing if anyone knew what the gap is supposed to be in the electronic ignition pickup (not sure what it is actually called) in the distributor.

8 mil (0.008") is what I recall. You can find it here quick in a search. Recommended to use a brass feeler gage.

its called a reluctor, should be set between .08 and .12 make sure to check all points of reluctor, as they are always off. sand paper works fine to bring em down to where they need to be
