I used to use my old elephant ear mounts as a template for new ones as the old ones were getting corroded. Sold that car and I now have a new set from Jegs that I need to trim. If anyone has a set of tracings, or their engine is out of the car that they could trace them on paper and mail to me, I would appreciate it. Mine are 3/8" thick aluminum and I have gotten too old to want to use a hacksaw to trim a little at a time. The original Direct Connection books from Chrysler had measurements of engine placement that helped get it right so that when you spent the big bucks to get your Hooker 5215 headers, they would fit.
Thanks

Find someone with a plasma cutter. It makes the trimming quick and easy.
Are those measurements in the old Direct Connection Racing Manual?

I loaned my original Direct Connection manual to someone who never returned it to me. And, no, I don't remember who it was. Someone who is using stock type mounts could easily make accurate templates as long as the water pump was not installed. Might be something you could sell to earn pocket change too. Any help would be great.
