So on my dart, its supposed to say "dart swinger" on the fenders, etc.

When i put the hemi 5.7 in, I want it to represent that...but im thinking having a fender say
"dart
Swinger
Hemi
5.7"

is gonna be a bit much.

What is everyone else doing? thinking? with there emblems?
Also, I would like a bumble bee stripe or a rear spoiler...can't decide, and think having both is to much, I do want to try and pay homage to the original styling to a degree, but not sure if there were certain requirments...ie what the packages/options were for the dart, and how that translated to the styling.

I would just put the Hemi 5.7 on the fenders with the stripe on the tail. But that's me. You would have to decide what looks good to you.

Clean is nice, that is why Im removing chrome, things like drip rails...
BUT...
I wanna be able to brag a little to, want that chump kid blasting his music and revin his ricer up, to see "hemi" and have some fear and respect....
Then I open my cutouts, floor it, and make him deaf.

prefer the stealth mode myself.....

My general rule of thumb comes from Teddy Roosevelt. Speak softly, and carry a big stick. For that reason I am going to go without a hood scoop and simply a 6.1L Hemi Emblem on the fender.

As far as being loud. Again, if your car is stupid loud, it had better be stupid FAST. I mean seriously fast. I mean at least 10 seconds fast. Nothing is more irritating than Harley Tards with their 13 second bikes. With their open exhaust that I can hear from three blocks away. A bike so slow that a kid on a stock GSXR 600 could clean their clock without even trying.

Strike that, a kid with a 1600 CC Honda that might turn a 16 on a good day with a coffee can size muffler that makes a sound like dying water buffalo when they step on the gas, is more annoying, but not by much.

Joe Dokes

LMFAO!

Thats a new description for them!

Not necessarily the name, just the reality. By the time I'm finished, there will be more Viper (all generations) than Dart; driveline, suspension, IRS, interior parts, lighting components; all kinds of craziness.

no emblems on mine......looks cleaner that way.

That's my thinking too. My 67 fish has waaaaay too many emblems.
They'll stay on the red car but if I ever build the vert most of those wax collecting badges will be deleted.

The ''Hemi'' emblem off of a newer ram pickup would look good on the door like the '68 and '69 Charger. They are about the same size too.
Leave he ''Dart'' and ''Swinger'' emblems on it too in the factory locations.

That's pretty much what I did with my Hemi build. I actually used the earlier style Hemi badges off of the pre 06 (I think) 300's that look a whole lot like the original Hemi badges that were on the B body doors. I ended up putting mine on the fender because I liked the way it looked there better, but it's a nice subtle tip off for anyone who pays enough attention to look at it. Otherwise I think it goes unnoticed most of the time.

(Please ignore the rust and filth on the car...)
