68 Barracuda new to me and have been trying to get it sorted.
First drive yesterday and no Emergency Brake, adjusted the cable and still nothing.
Took out the rear drum and it does not have the E cable connected to anything.

I need advice what is required to get E brake to work.

Thank you

It looks like you are missing two pieces, actually three if you include the spring.

Look at the picture and notice the pieces I highlited with red. There is a bar that goes down along the backside of the shoe and another cross bar that activates the brakes.

Sorry for the crusty picture.

Yes. What he said. Missing is the
parking brake lever
parking brake strut & spring.

The parking prake lever is attached to the shoe's backing plate with a stud and flat clip.

I see your on the other side of the pond. Send me an e-mail if you need a picture from the shop manual.

FYI the brakes in your photo are the same as used from '69 up 'till the end of the 10x 1.75" drum. Thats the best in that the parts are most readily obtained. The shoes are #331.
1968 and earlier 10" x 1.75" rear drums used a slightly different self adjusting system and a very slightly different shoe. When you order parts, tell 'em its a '69 and that should avoid confusion.

If these parts were the same for all 10 x 1.75" drums, here's the part numbers from 1968.

Parking Lever 2881 660 and 2881 661
Washer 2072 643 (2 needed per axle)
Lock 2072 644 (2 needed per axle)

Strut 2534 666 and 2534 667
Spring 2533 822 (2 needed per axle)

Got the parts locally and I think the brake will be good when put back together.
Thank you all.

Can anyone tell me what the part numbers for these same parts are for 11" drum brakes?
