Hey guys two questions, first do I have to remove my engine to tran brace to install headers?

second question can I still run my short oil filter with no 90 degree adapter?

All the other stuff I know what I have to do with the center link lifting motor etc just don’t remeber these two things, also the headers are Doug’s

You'll need to remove the passenger side brace and run a 90 degree oil filter adapter. 65'

From the Doug's website (and in the instructions):

What car is this and what header #? I have Dougs 453 on a 72 duster and have no need for the adapter. I am using the Wix 51068 filter . Here is a pic with the equivalent Fram (can't remember the #)

I had a 90 adapter on mine with Doug's. It sucks, but that was with a stock size filter. By the time you clock it to clear, removing it dumps oil all over the header tube. I went short filter and no 90, changes are easier.

Others have used a remote filter kit too.

Ya need to put a garbage bag around the header to keep oil off when changing the oil filter.
