The jackstand part of the rule deals with transmission testing of transbrake...the first sentence says you need to have someone in the car anytime the engine is running.

Yeh....heh. What you do NOT see is "the driver be seated in the car in the normal driving position"

There are stands under there. Another thing I find troubling is that AFTER the blower blew nobody seemed interested in looking for the kill switch.
