When I turn the ignition switch to start position I just get a click out of the starter relay. I can get the engine to turn over if I Jump the relay. My question: Is the relay good if it clicks when key is turned to start position? Maybe my neutral safty switch is out of adjustment. What is your thought?

Usually clicking is not enough power in the battery or a bad connection. Wire brush all connections on the starter relay and battery and make sure that they are tight.

Then if that doesn't work, try to jump start with another vehicle/battery and see what happens. Make sure to get good contact. A bad contact will spark when you try to engage the starter.

How many times on a cold, cold morning, when you really need it; a car and a woman, they won't turn over....

If you are actually hearing the starter relay click but not cranking the starter, I would lean towards bad contacts in the relay.

Tell us how you are jumping the relay?
