That car just sounds plain wicked! .. love it... with ya woulda held it there just a bit longer LOL

Call me next time and I'll come over an be the camera man. I was out running around today. Video is cool but your car is nicer in person. Might take a run over to Mboro to do some trading with another FABO member Sunday afternoon.

That's perfect! Thanks, I needed that. LOL

I don't have any photos/ movies, but I too took mine for a short run to the Carl's Junior, then down to the city beach. It's not nice here today, overcast, and some wetness here and there on bare roads from snow melt, but it was "pretty much" dry. You sure get some "funny looks" when you have a car this old out on a day like this.

Looks and sounds fantastic. Really like the 71 rocker trim with the wheelwell mouldings, really sets off the colors.

Is that a stroker motor with a big cam?
RPMs are pretty high so I'm thinking big cam.

Love the wheels, what are they torque thrusts?

Anyways, great video, very inspiring ......just waiting for my buddy to get his wheels back on his dart so we can get some action videos.

Thanks for the compliments, Gentlemen. I kept meaning to do this and finally remembered to throw the Flip videocamera in the console to take with me on a weekend drive. I found a deserted cul-de-sac in town and set the camera on the curb to get these views.
The wheels are American Racing wheels, 17X7s in front and 17X8s in the back. Got them through a dealer here in Nashville for a good price.
The 340 engine was pulled and torn down last year to the block, which was then decked and rebuilt. It's been bored .30 over, new components installed to include pistons, cam, etc., and has an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Edelbrock aluminum heads and 750 carb installed. Check the rebuild thread if you have the time & interest:

MyFifth, are you going to the automotive parts swap meet @ the Nashville Fairgrounds next weekend? I've got my original exhaust manifolds from the 340 and a repo driver's side heat shield for sale @ it through a friend in our car club (AACA Battlefield Chapter).
67Dart, I get the same thing driving around. The Dart get regular "thumbs up" from people in traffic.
