ever build a long bow

Me and nephew have decided to try, I read an artical about laminating 2x1/2 oak and poplar together and shaving the staff. Will let yall know the results.

I've seen some and they are about 6' and made of yew. They are serious weapons. Keep us updated Duck.

Made one years ago. Osage Orange is THE wood to use.
Mine had 45lbs pull.

I second, osage orange is the way to go.
