you are correct if you are using the small stock 3 core rad.

I've been blessed my dart sport 360 does well with cooling. No overheating issues at all. Got a 3 core 26" radiator. Brakes are good also. Larger front rotors and power brakes. Even with my 292 purple cam it stops nice!!
