Exhaust leak help!

I just fired my freshly rebuilt 273 HIPO, and I hear a leak at the passenger front cylinder. I can see black carbon marking the plug wire too. What is the best course of action to correct this? Otherwise, the start up is awesome!

I take it you have headers? I would try soft aluminum or copper gasket first most of the time this will do the trick. I had to take .040 off exhaust surface to true up heads and all sealed up well. Lastly you can remove header put small bead of weld around port to help seal up. Manifolds check all parts for being true-head/manifold and reinstall.

Or put in another set of header gaskets. Always have run 2 sets on my cars with headers, never had a problem.
