Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield

Left side exhaust manifold gasket/heat shield. Fits 273 but may also work on 340. Good used condition, not bent or dented. Located in Gig Harbor, WA. $75obo + shipping. PM me here.

Exhaust ports too small for 340 dude....
Also 340 ones used a one piece heat sheild instead of the two separate ones like yours...
Rare hard to find part tho! Good luck

Does this go against the head with the exhaust gasket between this and the manifold or does this go against the manifold and the gasket between this and the head?

This is your gasket. I don't believe you want to stack gaskets? Maybe some other people cpould chime in.

You are correct. I don't think Mopar used gaskets, just metal against metal.
You can use gaskets but they aren't needed with the heat shield.

Use some high temp silicone with that steel gasket and you'll be Golden!

It is in nice shape. Commando66 sent it to me last week. My old shield had holes rusted through after I cleaned it. Mine has metal between the shields but this one appears to be a factory piece. I will find out when I glass bead this one. Mike
