exhaust manifold i.d.

can anyone shed some light on this manifold?A guy said it was a 340,but it has a 1974 cast date. "L" code 360?

I vote 360. Casting date seems way too late for a 340 car.

I cant make out the first pic due to it being so small. There is a 2nd generations so called "HP" mainifolds that were for 340/360 manifolds as I understand it. If compared to say the 318 driver side you will notice the outlet is quite a bit larger on the 340/360 version. I believe that is what you have.

That's not even the correct number for that app listed.

Yes with that casting date it's a 74 360 manifold, but, still same base as the earlier 340 piece..
