Hello,

I teach auto shop etc. and we have a car that we are dismantling for parts and learning etc. It is a 79 2 door Volare with a 318.

It runs good and I may use the engine (factory 4-barrel 318) in one of my A bodies. The rear is a 7 1/4". It has the aluminum master cylinder which I will likely keep as well. I will likely keep the front K frame and disks.

I am resourceful and not very wasteful. Can you help me think of anything that I should be keeping for my A body? Parts that interchange etc? I think I have the big stuff lined out, just wondering if I am missing something.

Looking for some last minute ideas.

Thanks for the help as always, ROB

I don't know if you were planning on use the rear or the K-member but they are 2 inches wider than an A-body.
I had the idea of using an F-body front suspension in an A-body until i started measuring.

My understanding is that everything but the upper A-arms will work for the LBP disk brake swap for the earlier A bodies.

OK. I was just gathering ideas for things to keep. I was keeping the major stuff as mentioned.

F body stuff is hard to sell so I don't need a pile of things laying around.

Didn't want to throw away any parts that interchange either though.

Thanks for the help, ROB
