[WANTED] F body rear leaf springs

When under my Aspen this last weekend I discovered that one of my springs is failing so I'm looking for a 4 leaf spring (or springs) for my 76Aspen F body.Looking for something in a 150 mile or so radius of NY City so I can pick them up in person.

A body springs won't work in the F body

Those are going to be a BEAR to ship. You might seek out a spring specialist locally, to fix, and or replace what you have.

I know where there is a set from an F body RR, too bad about the distance.

Well, I found 1 today ,a 5 leaf spring and bought it for 50 bucks.Now I can repair the broken spring but I'm still looking for another 5 leaf now for the other side.But,at least I'm back in service on the road once I get this one installed.They are out there it just takes some searching. No way I'm going to do the shipping thing.I gave up on buying and selling parts long distance.Too much money to ship stuff just makes it impossible.

Agreed on that, the only thing that has saved sales for me is Greyhound Bus, really no other way to ship affordably unless you have a trucking company. Or a good buddy in one.
