Hey All,

First I would like to thank Joey and Adam for allowing me to do this. Kudos Guys!!!

We are having a benifit auction of parts with all proceeds to go to help Marvin, (70Dart).

As most of you know Marvin is recovering from a severe stroke. I was contacted by a few members about having a benifit auction of parts with all proceeds going to help Marvin and his family. I now have enough parts to start the auction. Most were provided by 71produster, (Stan) and I added a few myself. If anybody would like to donate any parts they have that are collecting dust please PM me or email at [email protected]

If any of you Vendors would like to donate any parts or services, they would be greatly appreciated.

Each donor of a part or service will have their name listed as the donor.

When the auction is finished, I will take a check for the full amount to Marvin and have pictures for you all.

Please ask all questions about a part in the thread that the part is listed. I will attempt to discribe each part as best I can.

The threads will be listed as auction 1,2,3 and so on.

All auctions will end at 12:01AM May 13th 2008.

Auctions are in the "Parts For Sale" forum.

PLEASE NOTE: The first 14 auctions, all parts are at my home. I am in New Brunswick, Canada and My postal code is E2S-2P2

Here are the rules of the auction.
1. No reserve
2. Highest bidder is the winner.
3. Winning bidder pays for shipping from the location of the part.
4. Payment will be by Money Order or Cashiers Check.
5. Payment to be made out to me if I have the part or the person that has the part at his or her location.
6. Parts will be shipped out when payment in full is received.

Bid often and bid high. LOL

Thanks

Jack

Thank you for taking time to help out a fellow Mopar Nut. I will go thru my box of trinkets and let you know what I've got for this.

Well Done!!

The threads should be sticky threads for the duration

This should be sticky'd in the FOR SALE section IMO. It took me a day to track down the rules of the auctions after seeing them in the for sale section.

Hay Jack  :notworth:

Great idea, I am digging it.:drinkers:

Looks like the bidding ends the day I go to court :-D

You're a good man Jack!

I'll dig up some stuff for the auction, and I will PM you with pics and info.

Wishing you all The Best Marvin!

Giles

Well, I am here now Jack. See my Handle on here, you should be able to figure out who this is. You know this could be bad. But, I do have a Mopar now and I bought it just so I could join this website and torture you, buddy. Now, down to business. As you know, I have a collection of 8 3/4 stuff. It was free with the 67 GTX. There is a wide selection of ratios, cases and posi units, including 4:10. I will pick it up this weekend and you can choose one to auction if you want. I just want to give you a run with my Trans Am and blow your doors off! Maybe the trunk lid too.

That's great John. As far as blowing my doors off, you better take that engine back to the shop and get some more work done to it. LOL

For all of you who don't know, which would be all of you, I have known PontiacGTX for a few years now. He is an avid car nut who has been building a Trans Am for as long as I have known him. He recently bought a 67 numbers matching 440 GTX locally. So he has started to convert to the good side. Very nice guy!!!

John, I will call you tomorrow.

Jack

Jack, I'd be honored to participate too.

I don't have any powder coated Moparts to donate to the cause right now (except a few that belong to customers, and they probably wouldn't take too kindly to that LOL), but I will kick in a $75.00 Gift Certificate that you can auction off. PM or call me so we can go over the details.

And let me take an off-topic moment to welcome your friend John aboard too <wavin>. I don't know who's gonna win your future race, but I'd love to watch!

Looking forward to a tremendously successful event on Marvin's behalf!

Hats off to ya Jack, your a good guy, as if everyone didn't know already. Hats off too to all of you with goods to donate and people like Cuda Chick'68 who are donating their work!! Never seen this kind of thing on the net before, says alot for the folk out there in the Mopar community, makes you realize there are no borders between us all. And Marvin, keep us posted and keep up the good work with gettin better!

I would like to take this opportunity to let you great bunch of people know how very much this huge surprise is appreciated at this time. A little update from the rehab centre; 101 days and counting the third tentative discharcge date was to be May 16th has now been changed to May 30th. I have yet to conquer the steps, get feeling back in the rest of my leg, arm and foot, and get movement back in my right hand. Hopefully it happens so I can get back to work and my dart project can continue. It looks like it will probably be a year before they will know if use will return to my arm and hand so just wait and see, but the suspense is killing me. Thank once again every one I am so thankful for the great family I have here your the best!
God Bless .....Marvin Peacock ....70dart :notworth:

One small thing to add, I ran into a fellow mopar nut who has a immaculate 33 dodge half ton and has owned Mopars all his including a hemi rail dragster and we had quite the chat, unfortunely the took my blood pressure at the same time and it was climbing higher that it had in a long time so I had to cut it short nurses orders....so wear a monitor when talking shop to be on the safe side if you get worked up like I do...but a 68 GTX no rust, 375 horse stock enginge all original for 10 grand you would to wouldn't you!

Thanks for the update Marvin. I'm sure that with your drive and determination you will get back in the game. Or are you just hanging around there for the nurse's? LOL

Jack

I want to hang out and talk mopars and check out nurses. youre almost a lucky dog.Just do as the docs say and youll be back 100% in no time. I,m living proof it happens.

Well all work and no play wouldn't be no good! But when I am well enough to leave I will have such long ways to go that the end seems no wheres in sight. I figure go faster and harder and the end gets here sooner but I am starting to wonder now!

.but a 68 GTX no rust, 375 horse stock enginge all original for 10 grand you would to wouldn't you!
Yes I would Marvin, I stopped and looked at a 68 road runner one time and did not get to sleep for many hours thinking how and if I could buy it.
Keep up the great work Marvin, Treva and I will keep you in or prayers.

Pssst do me a favor Marvin:-k and pinch me a nurse \\:D/
and just say, That was from memike.:-D

No problem.

Even though most everyone here is pretty cool, I'd hate to see a blow up over "it said this was the end time". It's the unfortunate legal background from a past life...

I'm not an attorney, but, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night! :-D
