FABO DOGGO SHOW

-
These are my step-dogs, they belong to my best friends, but they love to come stay with us, ten times as much room to chase balls in. Runa, the shepherd, is a half sister of my Hemi (also known as Runa-tic), and the Dobie mix is Bullet.

I sure wish that last pic was in focus!
Nope. Last pic is perfect!

Ok I could not hold out any longer and yes I have Been Drinking so I claim no actual adult responsibility. This pix is one of the many FABO guys that have been to my shop. Just great guys and great dogs!

Biscuit, so named because we adopted her on National Dog Biscuit Day. A failed hunter that was abandoned on a back road. An absolute sweetheart, and Daddy's girl...

Bean, because she's a little stinker. A former breeder at an Amish puppy mill, has mastered "treats" and guarding her new home...

Cookie, RIP... :( Adopted on National Sugar Cookie Day. Unclaimed stray that was considered "unadoptable". Always happy and ready to go... miss you every day, girl.

If you couldn't guess, we're a Beagle family!
I’ve had two beagles! They are a live or hate breed! I love them!

Since I cut off Dale's head in my other post, I grabbed a selfie while he was sitting beside me on the couch. He's 120lbs.

I saw this on a car at the drive-thru ATM yesterday, thought you all would appreciate it....

I've had Beagles and Beagle mixes my whole life- mostly rescues. They're just so social and affectionate.
Rescues come with their own individual issues and backgrounds, but once they decide you're worthy of their trust, they go all in- no dog is so dedicated or fiercely loyal as a rescue dog once they have adopted you.
I just happen to be a sucker for big brown eyes, floppy ears and a sob story...

Babysat the granddoggy for awhile. He's a real lover...all 70 pounds of him just wants in your lap! Benson came and sat by me on the couch while I was working. A Goldendoodle that apparently got more Golden Retriever genes.

View attachment 1715797228 Here’s the last one we have left. This is Prissy, a 16 year old Shitzoo that has been with us for 15 years. She has been the healthiest one we’ve had, out of the 4 Shitzoos we’ve had since 1997. She is now deaf, and well on her way to being blind because our dumbass vet said she was too old for cataract surgery 2 years ago. She would have been just fine due to her remarkable health otherwise. I can take her out in the yard mid day when the sun’s bright, and she will take off hauling *** when she can see well enough to know she is safe to bust out a run. Too old, yeah right!

This is my dog, Gracie. I know she looks a bit like a cat, but she identifies as a dog, and in this day and age who am I to question her?

Definitely defining the dominance there. My cousin had two Shepherds. A " normal" colored one and a white one. The white one was female. She would do that to my Red Tick. "I'm the queen here and don't you forget it!" Lol.

Aspen and Butch. Aspen was the female. She was very dominant. You could leave a fresh Benjamin on the dash of the truck in big city with windows wide open. Ain't nobody getting that hundo. Aspen has been gone for a couple years now. They miss her terribly and so do I. I would have been the only one to be able to snag that hundred off the dash! Lol.

I love how a German Shepard looks, but especially the white ones! My old roommate had a wolf hybrid, she was something else and always had to mess with other dogs, even when they didn't challenge her. Horses didn't like her one bit. She lived 14 years I think.

Beautiful dog! She was "thick" kinda like a wolf. My grandpa took on a wolf/shepherd mix. Big *** dog. When he leaned up against you, you nearly fell over! His name was Tim. Wish I had pics of him.

Here's my Sophie we had to say goodbye to in Feb 20. She swallowed something and we caught it in time but the stitches inside didn't hold. She never made a sound, doctor said she was very stoic. Miss her every day.

Helping me in the garage after swapping axles.

The day of her surgery. She was only 3 1/2 years old, she left us way too soon.

She was insane with her ability to escape any containment, and had seperation anxiety with my roommate. That meant when he worked nights, I got to have her in my room. Damn dog took over my bed each night! I slept like crap for those few weeks.

But she was a good dog in general, wanted to sit in your lap and she was well over 100 lbs.

She's gorgeous! I had a white Shepherd long ago, he was a really good dog, unfortunately I was too young and stupid to realize what I had. I regret not giving him more time and attention, I got him when I was 16 from a guy that I worked with. Had him for 10 years, cancer got him.:(
