Looking for one steel wheel for a spare 14x5? not exactly sure of the size i think its 14x5.5?

Formula S and Heavy-duty suspension cars would have 14 x 5.5. Standard was 14 x 4.5. The width measurement is taken from the inside of the bead surface so it's a little hard to check with a tire mounted. You can use two sticks laid flat across the rims and measure through the center hole, but this outside measurement will be 1/2" larger than the actual spec width. So, roughly 6" for a 5.5" wheel, or 5" for a 4.5" wide wheel.
