Howdy Ya'll... heres a couple pics of the 74 project my son and I are working on. Shes a Swinger with a 318 in her for now. We are in the process of stroking a 400 to drop in with a 727, later... the car has little to no rust and was found in Montana. I have found that this site offers some awesome knowledge and experience and has helped us out alot with questions... great site and thanks for having us.

Congratulations, those memories will last forever. That car should fly with a stoked 400, looking forward to the updates.

Just to whet your appetite, here's a pic of the 400 our club (Inland Mopars) put in our 2008 charity project car 1968 Valiant. It fit like it was made for it.

WOW..... thats awesome.....love the valve covers............... Charity Project?????? I am accepting all charitable donations that look like that.....LOL
 
Ok,,,,been awhile since i have updated our progress..... we have installed a weiland manifold purchase from another FABO member,,, added a new holley 600 cfm carb,,,, a XL 268 Comp Cam which really changed the sound and performace... Flowtech headers with glass packs and 21/2 exhaust coming out in front of rear tires... Tach and new gauges,, new carpet and center console...... still have electric fan, electric fuel pump, to put on.... it sounds really good.... we are building a 383 to drop in in the spring... now actively looking for a posi rearend........pics soon to come of the progress..... tanks FABO for all the help with questions and advice, its saved alot of time and headaches..
