Having to change out the wooden divider panel on my 67 fastback. What is the coating on the trunkside? Looks like some kind of velvet sprayed on? What can I use to coat my new divider? Where can it be purchased?

dont know as my 68 was carpeted from the factory, as were 3 others I have seen and the only other ones I have seen were painted black

My 69 383-S fastback has the same type of velvet looking material on the trunk divider panel. I have not figured out what could be used to replicate the finish so I have not had it installed for a looooong time.

My '68 has that stuff on it too. I don't know what that stuff is but i'm going to need some also.
