Friday afternoon I get a call from Alcom. They said "your trailer is ready. If you come pick it up here in Montana, we'll take some $$ off the price."

12hr trip each way and she's finally home. I'm tired but we made a weekend out of it. Saved a significant amount of money even when factoring in the fuel.

Happy Father's Day indeed. Now let's go racing! :)

Trailer is awesome. Pictures all around and inside please, was it cheaper to order from Montana? Was there a waiting period? Thanks jesse

Thanks!

It's a shell at this point. I had them install the extra ceiling lights and the rear loading wing, but thats about it. I saved a lot of money by just getting the basics. Alcom makes an awesome trailer but they can get super expensive if you have them add all of the bells and whistles.

I'm hopefully installing the coin flooring and winch next weekend and I'll be building aluminum cabinets for it this Winter. I can weld and I have all of the tools to make it look just as good.

I just need to find the time to do it.

Here is the basic design for the cabinets Im building. I'll be using 1"×1" aluminum square tube for the frame, .080" for the cabinet faces and 1/8" stainless for the counter top. Should come out good. And it'll save me close to $3k after materials. Worth it.

On the rear of the trailer, roof level. What's the reason for the overhang??

Congrats BTW!! Portable storage

Hey Thanks!

There are 6 large lights underneath the wing that are for loading/unloading. And the overhang also helps channel water off the roof without it running down into the door and possibly leaking.

Still a lot of work to do on it, but now I can finally get to the track.
