FBO box failure

Hi Guys
After 4 years of trouble free motoring my FBO box went bang big time,can i use a mopar orange box as a replacment as i cant afford the new fbo with built in rev limiter at the moment,engine is a warmed 318.

You can use any box you like. the orange box is a failure waiting to happen,I'd go to a parts store and pick up a unit and go,maybe buy 2 and keep one for a spare. Reset your timing with the new box.

I would spring for a MoPar Chrome box. Skip the Orange box.

Check to make sure your voltage reg is working right. If that goes bad the module will fry, and it only takes less than a minute for it to happen.
