Fender tags are read from bottom to top
B-Barracuda; H-high price class; 29-fastback; 62- 383 hi perf 4bbl; 5- 727 Torqueflite; 38- E 70x14 redline tires; A19- 10/19/1968 build date (not 100% certain on that); 054686 vehicle shipping #.
Next line:
2-5 drip rail mouldings; 3-0 body belt mouldings; 7-8 wheel lip mouldings; A-4 3.23 axle ratio; T-D deluxe trim code; R-6 bucket seats; M-Y gold interior color; PNT-JJ1 medium gold metallic body color; U-J unknown; S-1 black horizontal stripes.

F-7 Formula S package; R-1 AM radio.
Next line:
