Fender to shock type bumper brackets 75 duster Right and left?

Hi guys, can anyone out there tell me if there are meant to be two different, i.e. a left and right version of the bracket that goes from the bottom front of the fenders to the shock style bumper brackets. My 75 appears to have 2 of the same, which doesn't look right to me. or was this some kind of 70's budget cutting thing?

I have a good used set here available and yes they are the same for either side

Well I guess it's good news but still prefer the rod style braces the earlier cars had.
