So who is still around making fiberglass hoods for a 72 Duster? Quality ?

I am thinking a glass hood with a six pak scoop for more clerance since it is big block swapped.

Unlimited, AAR, US Body, VFN, & Glasstek are some that I've used over the past 30+ years. Don't expect them to fit OOTB, you will have some fitment issues.

I have several new and used 70 to 72 Glass hoods with different scoops.
I'm looking for flat 71 Duster fiberglass hood. Do you have one? Can you pack it for shipping to MI area?

Yes I do and Yes I will!

I will be back from World Finals Sunday after next
and will check shipping but it will be $200 or more.
Shipping has gone crazy the last year!

Let me know then, I think we can work something out.

All sold as they were easy to ship.

A 1/2 dozen new hoods (Demon/Duster Valiant Dart) and one set of new Glass
Duster fenders and headlight buckets that I have held for over a year for
one of my friends and he apparently has flaked out on me.

The quality on these is WAY BETTER than anything I have seen for the
last 10 years or more.

Separate molds were made for each scooped hood not glassed in after the fact.

We built and sold High Perf. and Race boats years ago and we know about fiberglass.

This is a long shot, I know, but co you have any hoods left you would sell and pictures of them? I'm more looking for a flat hood but do intend on running a tunnel ram at some point, so it will eventually get opened up. I am open to suggestions. If you like, you could pm me any info and for reference, shipping would be to Wisconsin if you are willing. Thanks in advance (even if it is too late).

A little more than forty years ago I made a hood and front bumper for a friends 64 Chrysler 300 K, in the years since I have cast many hoods, bumpers and trunk lids for one off race cars. I had read an article In HotRod magazine in the seventies on fabricating fiberglass parts, it’s really not that difficult.

I only have several new and a couple used A Body Hoods
with different configurations of scoops. No B/E body hoods.
I found some more glass fenders with headlight doors and factory
mounting brackets.

Shipping would be a fortune thou to ship back East.
