Does anyone know if there is a US application for a filter less oil pump for the slant. I'm looking for something like the guys down under are using.

Its just a PH8A so im sure you can find a "sandwich" adapter or "remote" adapter and then -12 plumb the remote filter where ever you want

Thanks kid. I was hoping to do it without any adapter. I wonder if anyone has cut off the part of the oil pump where the filter screws on and threaded it to accept lines. Sometimes I have a tendency to over think things. I just would prefer to do it with no adaptors.

Mark made a plate for an external pump but that wont work for you. I ran the trans-adapt kit for awhile, it was nice but the line's were not long enough for what i wanted to do. im sure you can order just the cap and filter relocation kit.

Its always nice to have that filter up on the fender where you can unscrew it with a plate under it to catch all the oil.

thats what i figured, but with the line length given i couldn't get it low enough. it would just pour down the inner fender, then down the frame rail LOL

I looked into this as well. Sadly what those down-under are buying is a US spec pump that someone then modifies to remove the filter pad and install the fittings to remote mount the filter on the LF corner of the block out of the way of their steering box.

Most of those that I could find pictures of had the fittings brazed in place. They used what I think are Inverted Flare to NPT fittings, but I's advise using -10 AN/JIC
