I finally found a place to talk to fellow mope-a-dopes such as myself. I've got a 1976 Dodge Dart Lite. I bought it when I was 15 (sold my Nova to buy it) and put a 318 in it out of a 1968 Dodge Polara. That worked great, for high schoolbut now its time to update. I can finally afford to do all the things I dreamed about doing to it when I was young. I have a 318 stroker (349 ci) Super Comp Headers, Mp Master Cylinder, line lock, electronic exhaust cutouts, Redooing the interior and hopefully adding a 6-pak hood soon! I also have a (right one this time) K frame and lower control arms that are strengthened and powder coated, along with every thing else for the front end- PST suspesion and 1 1/8" front sway bar.

If a 8.75 can live behind a automatic hemi or 440 6pac,it might survive a 349.I use a dana and 8.75 in darts and dusters and have not one problem with motors of 400-750HP.mrmopartech
