Over the past few years, I have occasionally posted some pictures of the status of a '56 Studebaker Power Hawk I am helping a friend restore. We put it on hold for about 1.5 years so we could do a cosmetic restoration (with some mechanical work) on his 82 Chevy S10 Stepside. Anyway, today I sprayed some single stage grey. Regardless of the body color, the inside of the trunk, backside of the trunk lid and rear quarter window frames were all painted grey. While we were at it, the entire inside (including the roof) got two coats of the same grey on top of the primers (epoxy and high build) we had already sprayed. I will almost guarantee this car will never rust. None of the paint we sprayed in the interior will be seen, it is simply for protection. It will be red with a white roof. I hope to get some red sprayed soon.
