Finally done. Built in the yard and the driveway. That would be rattle can paint.
I'm in the middle of my 65 build, I hope it turns out half as good.Looks great, love the stance on it.
Thank you. Since I was going for an old-school look that’s an actual curtain panel and a technique is called lace painting.Looks amazing for an outside paint job. How did you do the mod top style graphics? Stencil?
Thank you.Looks great, love the stance on it.

Thank youRattle can paint? Seriously?!?! Yeah....that was a compliment! LOL. It looks great. How did you make the new rear wheel openings, cut the lips off some front fenders and flip sides? They look good, however you did them. I always wondered if one of those scoops would look good on a 64-65 Barracuda, and it looks at home on there. Good job on the whole car.
I think with the door jams and under the trunk lid around 16 cans. Then another couple cans of white for the lace painting. The car was then wet sanded and I shot it with two part clear from a spray gun.Holy Smokes!! It looks great in the pictures. How many cans did that take?
Wow, if that is rattle can paint you are GOOD!
I love the look and the rear wheel well, that gives the car a great new look.
How di you do that neat pattern on the car, a decal?
Thank youImpressive!
Originally I was going to do bent Half inch electrical conduit as seen in the first picture. Then I contemplated doing the traditional trick of reversing the wheel opening from a pair of front fenders. I finally decided to go with these 55 to 57 Chevy gasser patch panels from eBay. It took a bunch of metal work to be able to use them but I like the lip in comparison to the lip on the front fenders. I felt that the front fender openings being used on the back did not give me a large enough wheel opening for the size tires I wanted to use .Rattle can paint? Seriously?!?!
