Hello everybody! Great to join this community.

Got my old man's car just last fall and started working on it this spring.

He got it new and drove it until 2011. Since then it sat in his garage.

Looking forward to get into the world of A-bodies with this beauty and contribute to this forum!

Welcome to FABO from way over the pond in Florida USA!!
I love stories of guys getting their father's mopar. Jump in and have fun with her. We're here to help!!

Thanks! It was nice to find this forum since the local community is quite small and in-active.

In fact, there was only ~100 registered Valiants/Dusters in the entire country last year..

WELCOME! from middle Tennessee. :steering:
The B-5 blue '70 Duster 340 in my avatar was my first one. Ordered it new in late '69. Long gone, but have located the engine block.
Have it's "replacement" under restoration now, this red '70 340:

What a view and nice duster! Have you had any use for studded tires there in Alaska?

Some clubs organize winter cruisings here:)
Thanks, the picture is at Alaska Raceway Park, the ONLY dragstrip in the state. AND it's NHRA certified. Oh yeah there are LOTS of uses for studded tires here in the winter. Most classic owners in AK hibernate their cars in the winter.
