Hey Guys I’m new to the Forum. Thought it would be a good idea to connect with some MOPAR guys. I need all the help I can get.

My son and I are getting started on a 71 Dart and planning to take it to Rocky Mountain Race Week in 2022. We have a 6.1 Hemi from a 2010 300 SRT8 with a Holley Terminator ECU.
What's your recommendation on right front/rear suspension, K-member, brakes and automatic transmission.

I'm looking at Reilly Motorsports, Hemi Denny for Suspension...
Wilwood for brakes...
TCI 727 Trans with transbrake

Thanks for your help I'm a newby?

Welcome from just a little north. Nice looking Dart. Ether front suspension system is a good piece. I would think over your trans brake on the street idea. Maybe look into a A518 for drivability.

Thanks I will do that...

I spoke to Reilly Motor Sports and he thinks for the power numbers we are looking to make that rebuilding the stock front suspension will work best. He said the stock front suspension has more travel than coil over and will give better weight transfer. So I think I'm going to reach out to Dr. Diff and see about going that direction. On the rear probably going to inboard the leafs and narrow a 9 inch.

Thanks for the thought on the trans. I agree if we can get an overdrive that would be great for race week. Do you know any who makes a strong reliable a518 or 46re with a transbrake that can handle 750+ hp?

If your set on a trans brake, I would look into a gear venders overdrive.
