Just picked up this little beauty for $400 cash, 90% solid metal for a new england car. :cheers: I've been a die hard Ford guy for while now and just recently decided I wanted to get an classic mopar. I don't much about mopars but hopefully I can learn something on the forums here.

Oh ya, I saw that car and jumped on it the day it was posted. Seemed like a deal I'd never see again. Solid floors and trunk? All original numbers matching car and engine? What's not to like. Only 84k miles too, the original owner from 70 to 97 kept a mileage log in the owners manual, in 1997 it had 57k on the clock.

Plans for it so far are to drive it with the leaning tower of power for now until I get enough spare cash to do a 340 or a 440 swap.

haha, yeah I decided to try something different when I finally came to terms with the ford needing something different fixed every week, fix or repair daily huh?
 
Welcome to the darkside. After the proper initiations are completed, you will be welcomed to the inner sanctum. Of course, once you're in, you're in for life :)

Might want to rejink that handle, it will remind you of those former terrible times forever lol.

Welcome aboard!!! It's terrific that you've graduated to Mopars! And what a nice little find that is too -- a total score I can tell you're already very rightfully proud of.

If you're thinking about getting rid of that mag mount CB antenna, please keep me in mind -- I really need one for my shop truck (the bolt mount type are too long and hit my carport LOL). I'm not above trades for work either.

You will find everything you could possibly ever ask for around here: great people, on point tech advice, wonderful comraderie and a boat load of beautiful cars to keep you inspired and droolin on the keyboard. Just be careful -- they're electric and we don't need our new members shocking themselves into oblivion. Zzzzzzzzzzttttttttttttttttttt :-D

I'll have to look into this, a good friend of mine lives in Norfolk, dunno if you know the lawson family but I'm up there all the time so you might see the dart cruising around.
