Made three shakedown runs last night to see how things are working, Ive got some burnout issues with the line lock button, and getting the starting line technique down but all in all, it pulled hard all the way through the lights. It will go tens once its worked out. I ran with mufflers just to listen for problems.
1. 1.79 60ft
11.61 et
114.14 mph
Bad burnout, wanted to push through the lights, unsure of 1-2 shift rpm, pretty easy on the throttle for the first 1/2

2. 1.60 60 ft
11.16 et
119.29 mph
Good burout, still trying to feel the converter at the lights, unsure of 1-2 shift rpm, not a bad run, best out of three

3. 1.89 60 ft
11.64 et
120.53 mph
Suns down, cool air, Completely blew the burnout fummbling with the line lock button, spun bad, unsure of 1-2 shift rpm, was told i was out of the throttle before the lights

Your runs are very similar to mine. The 410 I have has oodles of torque down below,as I had issues hooking also(mph was all over the place). What slicks, sizes are you running?I,m now gonna run a 28 inch slick, take my exhaust off, swap to a 4.30 gear with spool.Hoping to see 10,s soon.:clock:

those runs are on a M&H DOT 325/50/15 27 1/2 to 28" tall 4.10 gear through exhaust. i didnt notice any traction issues until the final run. (but did a terrible burnout)

Yeah my MT drag radials are 275/50/15,s(26 inch)I,ve put 28 inch slicks on now and am changing gears from 3.91 to 4.30.Should make some difference of the line now,I hope.My stall is a Coan 8 inch 4500 stall. My best has been 11.32@120mph spinning with the 26,s.I find them hard to find proper burnout times, with the weather/temp.Traction sometimes and not other times?

Made six passes last night with a best of 11.03 @120 mph. Still a 1.60 sixty foot. Thought may get into the 10's, but ran out of time. After resolving some burn out and launch technique issues, the car seemed to hook pretty good. First couple runs i wasnt even spinning the tires in my burn out with the loose converter, and would spin at the launch. after getting the the tires hot, it hooked hard and actually made me pull second gear on the start line on one pass, still ran an 11.30. A couple friends mounted an in car video camera, so ill post them when i get them.

Made three passes today at US131, and like pettyblu, finally broke into the 10's. first pass was the usual 11.0, then someone suggested loading the converter a little more. 2nd pass was a 10.93 @ 120.88, 1.54 60'. 3rd pass was 10.94 @ 121.07, 1.55 60' (.29 red light woops). Put the car on the scale afterwords, 3255 w/driver.
