Hit US131 last night for the first time of the year. The car didnt miss a beat which was nice, but the weather was cool and overcast so the track was slick. the right lane was ok but the left was a waste of time. Best i could muster was an 11.01 @ 120.51. Only changes to the car from last year are the Moroso front tires and the fuel pump (oil pressure) safety switch. I have 6cyl bars for the front that i want to try before next time. currently it will just lift the driver front tire, and the car feels pretty stiff on launch so i hope the bars help the transfer an bit. This picture looks like it shows the car hooking pretty good by the tire and shape of the rear spring.

Looks like a good bite to me Vitamin c
I hope the rain is gone for a while here in Northeast Arkansas
Rain out's all year it seems

I ran an eleven thirty five last year in Victoria, but on an 1/8 mile track
I would guess you run a 6.55 1/8 mile
A day at the track is better then looking out the widow watching the rain fall :coffee2: Your Dart looks like you have it hitting the first 100 foot mark quick :headbang: Thank you for sharing this cool day at the track with us :icon_smi:

Nice run! This year I,ve switched to tubular(RMS)UCA,s and the hymed strut rods, also Caltracs out back.Hopeing to get better weight transfer this year.Good luck!

Im at a 1.55 60'. It has HD rear springs with the front segment clamped, comp eng adjustable shocks, and adjustable pinion snubber. The front end has poly bushings, aluminum strut rods with the big cupped washers turned to face out,(alot of different opinions on the correct instalation, but faced out really frees up movement of the LCA) , 90/10's , and wilwood discs. Stock upper and lower control arms, no sway bar.

On an 11.0 1/4 mile run its not even close to 6.55 1/8 lol, more like 7.0s

410, Indy/edelbrock heads, 11.5 to 1 pistons, edelbrock super victor manifold, Quick fuel 1050 carb, 727 reverse VB, 4500 converter. tti headers

Thank you Joe  I knew it had to be close to 7.0 but I had to fudge a bit to be careful  Thank you for your tech time help :)
So I would need a 4 1/2 second start to give that V8 a race :D with my little /170. Life is good today :headbang: NO RAIN !!

I'd say so, closer to a 3.1/2 second start, i'm sitting here & trying to calculate in my head & now my head hurts :drunken:, Now that the brain fart went away, You should be in the 7.2 or so 1/8 mile on your 11.3s.

Its almost a given, if you run the 1000 ft., you can tack on around 1.9 too 2.1 seconds & that'll be your 1/4 mile ET, so if you run 9.5s 1000, thats 11.4s too 11.6s 1/4
