This is news to me. I have never heard of such a thing. Share some more details about it.

Never heard of using fish oil. Seems like hot days and fermented fish oil might make for an interesting stench!

I don't know about Australia having more fish. I meet a lot of Aussies fly fishing in Montana and they say it's their favorite place to fish. My buddy Mick will be in Montana/Idaho area this summer beating up on the fish. He has never mentioned or sent me pictures of trout caught in Australia. He does go to NZ quite often for trout fishing.

Try a Health Food Store or check out Whole Foods on the internet.

If all else fails try WD-40 for spray on rust prevention.

Well it's common practice there and years ago it was real potent stuff and stunk the joint out for weeks.... Must have been when we were poaching fish from someone's else's territorial waters. Anyhow not so strong now but still works well its very thin and gets in everywhere. I used it on my 4x4 and had it weaping out of spot welds for months after every time I dove on off road tracks. I had one little surface rust spot near my drives side mirror which I dabbed a bit of oil on and in 10 years of living on the coast and fishing every weekend it didnt change one bit. So I think it's the best stuff going for prevention .... It would be the final thing you would do before closing everything up. I need some for the dart but going on these responses maybe its not available here

Buy some Fish Oil in capsule form from the local Pharmacy, grocery store or Health Food store and crush the capsule... use the leftovers with your vitamins everyday.

I buy it in 4 liter tins...... That's a lot of capsules!!

here is another possibly the best rust prevention my friend uses with great sucess is two parts of mineral oil and one part beeswax warm untill wax melts and brush or spray on and it lasts for years

I've had good luck with this and knew it had fish oil in it., but did not realize untill now that it needs rusty metal to work right.
I read the FAQ on that before posting this.

Although when I've wanted to use automotive paint over it, I always top coat the Rustoleum with rattle can laquer primer.

On airplanes we used something called Dinitrol
I understand that LPS3 is the same thing.
Don't breath it. It will coat your lungs.

One of my Darts had Zeibart when it was new.
It has the yellow plugs in the panels.
Probably something like that.

This is interesting because there is a long standing rumor that WD-40 contains fish oil. Anyway, I wouldn't spray fish oil on anything but a Cuda.
