Guys is there a better solution to my problem?

Fuel elbow is hitting the coil mount bracket. I could add a carb spacer and clear it I guess? Where do I mount my coil then though?

I've seen a lot of cars with the coil mounted inside the car.. mine is on the floor on top of the trans tunnel and about 4" from the firewall

Not sure it will give you enough room for the coil, but one of the fitting companies make a shorter fitting to go into the carb. I think I saw it in Jegs catalog.

Thanks fellas! I'm going to see if I can bring it up more using that fitting you guys posted without having it hit the linkage on the carb then.

Would running a carb spacer hurt or be beneficial?

Can't bring the line up anymore without hitting the linkage of the carb.

Carb spacer looks to be my only option?

1/2" spacer helps with mixture in un-equal plenum intakes like the air-gap. Unless you have the center intake milled down, watch this video:

Mounted mine on the fender well..

The fuel line - I plan to do a setup like my old fox body had - pictured below
