Fixing stripped out coil terminals?

I have an Accel coil (forget the model) with the chrome exterior. The soda can shaped coil, not the popcorn box lookin' one.

Anyhow the + and - terminals are stripped off. I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure a way to repair them.

Any thoughts?

Probably not going to be easy. Maybe try a metric nut slightly smaller than what was on there, it might just bite enough to thread on.

Depends how stripped they are. If they're only stripped at the bottom where it was holding the eyelet, add a small washer

Brass terminals? Clean 'em up good and solder a pigtail onto the terminal. I had a coil LMAO must have run it 10 years that way. I used a sleeved "quick disconnect" on the end

Now that is a great idea. Gonna give that one a try.
