here is an old school trick for you guys,,, a local spring shop can re-arc your old springs , and for the strip, we use to double up the main leaf by getting another main from a scrap yard and the cutting off the bushing mounts, ...by doubling up the main they act like the ss springs and dont wrap up much , just be sure to clamp them up.it works and is cheap....one other note ...i dont remember the ss springs ever being that uneven ...alittle yes but not two to three inches....and the right side should be the higher one , but only by an inch or less. ..if you really want to level it out try adding a leaf to the lower side...
